The overall objective of the project is to contribute to improving patient safety and quality of health care as specified in the EU Council Recommendation.

Specific objectives:

1. Establishing a mechanism for the exchange of good clinical practice (GCP) in the field of patient safety in the health services of the Member States
2. Establish a mechanism for the exchange of best practice in the field of quality management strategies at the level of health care organisations (HMOs) in the Member States
3. Implementation of good safety and quality practices in similar countries (according to criteria of feasibility, transferability, patient involvement, etc.)
4. Improving the mechanism for cooperation and exchange of best practices
