The European Conference for Health Management will take place in Bucharest, Romania on 5-7 June 2024.

We are delighted to announce the 29th European Health Management Conference to be held from 5-7 June 2024 in Bucharest, Romania. The conference is an annual event organised by the European Health Management Association (EHMA). This year we are delighted to host this conference together with the Romanian Ministry of Health and the National Institute for Health Services Management (INMSS).

The European Health Management Conference is the largest event of its kind in Europe. It attracts over 400 representatives from the healthcare sector, including managers, leaders, researchers, academia, professionals, patients and industries, to discuss the latest trends in health services and systems management. This scientific conference offers a rich and diverse programme of plenary sessions, abstract presentations, workshops and scientific dialogues.

The theme of the conference, “Shaping and Managing Innovative Health Ecosystems”, covers the full spectrum of health megatrends, from the digital transformation of healthcare systems and services to the growing importance of sustainability and the evolving skills needed by the health workforce. The conference aims to explore how the health sector is adapting to these changes, with a focus on an ecosystem approach, promoting collaboration between stakeholders.

We are also pleased to announce that the call for abstracts associated with the conference is now open. This is an excellent opportunity to present health management research and best practice to a wide international audience. The submitted abstracts are an essential part of the conference programme and support the vision of identifying, discussing and addressing current and future health management needs. The deadline for submission is Monday 15 January 2024, 10.00 (CET).
