
DOCTORS IN QUALITY HEALTHCARE
The project provides access to courses on medical legislation and the prevention of risk and allegations of malpractice for 4000 doctors across the country: 1600 doctors in high-risk specialties (surgery, ATI, obstetrics and gynaecology) and 2400 dentists. The courses will be organised between October 2010 and May 2013, in the form of two-day training workshops and will focus on: areas of vulnerability in current medical practice, techniques for avoiding malpractice allegations, legal requirements applicable to the medical profession, methods of negotiating malpractice insurance.
